How We Got Here

B.S. Biology
Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine 
from the New England School of Acupuncture  
    Over 3000 hours of classroom study
    180 hours of Clinical Assistantship
    720 hours of Clinical Internship (Chinese Acupuncture, Japanese Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine, and 
Chinese Herbal Medicine) (Clinical rotations minimum: 350 documented treatments, 75 written prescriptions)
Diplomate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine through the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine)

A licensed acupuncturist maintains MA state licensure by completing at least 30 continuing education hours per renewal cycle (2 years) and maintains national diplomate status by completing  60 continuing education hours per renewal cycle (4 years).
