Spring is on it's way!

Although it seems unlikely at the moment, spring really is on its way. I promise. Before we know it, plants will be bursting from the ground and turning green everywhere we look. Of course, along with all that green comes pollen. Ah, the price we pay for wishing for less snow and cold! Luckily, acupuncture and herbs are very helpful for seasonal allergies and all the symptoms that go along with them. From a Chinese medicine point of view, allergies are due to a weakness in the bodies wei qi. This is sort of like your immune system, so when it is weak, outside pathogens can invade the body and wreak havoc...enter spring allergies! Acupuncture helps to boost the bodies wei qi as well as alleviating symptoms such as watery, itchy eyes, runny nose, sneezing, fuzzy head, you get the idea. Don't wait until it's too late, make your appointment today and stay ahead of allergy season...or else!
